Job Purpose:
Once a job is “sold”, act as primary contact for external customers on all commercial projects by handling customer relation inquires and issues.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to maximize communication and expectations and gather project timelines
- Manage all aspects of shipping for a job:
- Coordinate ship dates
- Communicate to all applicable parties of ship dates
- Proactively alleviate any shipping issues by monitoring factory ship dates and ensuring they align with expected project timelines
- Manage special shipping instructions by coordinating shipping changes
- Collaborate with Account Executive to resolve any issues that arise during project. Carry out any tasks needed to eliminate issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for all projects
- Manage all aspects of a start up for a job:
- Coordinate startup with Contractor
- Schedule startup and send in paperwork
- Gather project information and send IOMs to Contractor
- Assist customers with warranty issues, returns and re-consignments
- Provide product and procedural support to Team Members of the Commercial Project Manager Team. This will center on answering and/or finding answers to product and/or procedural questions any of the team members might have.
- Run a weekly PM Meeting and go over any issues the team is facing. This will include go over any new information from the factory regarding product, lead times, and shipping issues.
- Will assist Team Members with credit/rebills, including best practices and procedures.
- Train Team Members on local ERP and QuotePro
- Provide input during annual reviews for all Team Members.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Work cooperatively with others
- Comply with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field of study, preferred
- 3 years experience in the HVAC industry, preferred
- 5 years customer service experience
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Travel Requirement:
- 10% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
