Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Human Resource Intern is to provide support to the Human Resources Department.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist department with various filing/Dynafile to include but not limited to: New Employee Paperwork, Employee changes, Terminations, Education Assistance, Benefit documents, WC files
  • Assist with Safety projects
  • Participate in HR Company Events to include: charity events, Company Employee events
  • Work cooperatively with others
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular, punctual and reliable attendance and availability 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; lay on the floor; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. The employee may work in environments as cold as 20 degrees or as hot as 105 degrees. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an Associate or higher education in a related field
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Travel Requirement:

  • 0% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
