Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate
Job Purpose:
To lead the commission process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound payments. Contribute to annual planning, forecasting, and variance analysis, while providing key performance indicators to management. Support operations with vendor/customer pricing analysis, dealer profitability, and sales margin KPIs. Participate in ad hoc financial and IT projects to drive improvement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Commissions Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversee the tracking and validation of all payroll changes (new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers) to ensure they are accurately factored into monthly commission calculations.
- Lead the preparation of monthly commission statements, including those generated through our automated system or manually in Excel.
- Manage commission payroll reporting and analysis for monthly payouts, working with management to confirm accuracy and adjust as needed.
- Research compensation issues and disputes, providing analysis to facilitate resolution.
- Administer the annual commissions contract process and maintain accurate documentation of commission processes and related controls.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to ensure commission reporting is accurate and timely.
- Oversee the administration of the Internal Employee SPIFF bonus program for damaged and superseded sales.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, managers, and sales leaders, addressing commission and bonus inquiries and resolving payment issues.
- Respond to commission-related inquiries promptly, diplomatically, and professionally.
Corporate Reporting and Analysis:
- Compile, analyze, and report financial, sales, and statistical data (including sales, expenses, operating working capital, cash forecasting, capital expenditures, and operating statistics) from multiple systems.
- Identify key risks and opportunities to financial plans, monitor actions to ensure delivery of financial commitments, and explain variances from plans.
- Collaborate with managers and senior staff to provide financial analysis, create dashboards, and enhance systems and processes, including expanding BI tools for streamlined reporting to support strategic growth.
- Implement and automate consolidated monthly reporting with commentary in BI tools/systems, aimed at providing post-close insights on significant variances and financial/non-financial KPIs.
- Conduct analysis and tasks with limited supervision, bringing a solutions-oriented attitude to new projects.
Other Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Take the initiative to collaborate with business segments and management to assess and implement projects that support business needs, enhance systems, and expand BI tools for streamlined reporting.
- Serve as a backup for other analysts’ responsibilities and collaborate with the Director of Finance and department managers on complex projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned, working cooperatively with others and complying with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of working knowledge of sales incentive compensation principles and related operational execution
- 3 or more years of experience as a Staff Accountant or Financial Analyst, a plus
- Advanced software skills in Microsoft Office, highly advanced skills in Excel
- Preferred experience with Tableau, Board Reporting, SAP and other similar data analytics ERPs
- Preferred experience with any Sales Commissions Management software
- Detail oriented with strong analytical problem solving ability
- Ability to work as a team player and work in a deadline based environment
